Climate
Libya has a very hot and arid climate, mostly because this country is covered by the vast Sahara Desert. The climate along the coastline of Libya is a little more moderate and less extreme. Near the coastline the climate is relatively cooler, rainy, and has temperate winters. In mountainous regions the climate is desert like and is very dry and arid as well. Overall, the climate of Libya is very dry and arid, but there is still some moderate climate areas along the coastline.
